
Chocolate and orange cookies
Ingredients
2 cups pecans
2 cups dates
¼ cup carob powder
Zest of one organic orange
Directions
Place pecans into a food processor.
Process until the nuts resemble coarse crumbs.
Add carob powder and zest.
Add the dates half cup at a time, making sure the dates are being incorporated in well.
Process until ‘dough’ like consistency has been reached and you can roll into a ball.
Roll mixture into equal sized balls and flatten slightly to look like biscuits with a fork leaving prong impressions.
Dehydrate overnight in a very low oven (50-60c)
