Fully developed, the accommodation possibilities could realize up to 40 guests at any given time. The planning approval includes the creation of an optional community title scheme, allowing the ability to attract investors to privately own individual cabins and leased or rented back. Twin key cabins are typically yielding $1000 per night. During the previous seven years of operation it has been the fastest growing and third largest retreat in Australia.
Competition is greatly reduced, this approval has been extended from an outdated planning scheme and is unlikely to see any further development approvals of this size within such close proximity to Maleny under current planning schemes.
Excellent relationships have been fostered with the neighboring properties, most of whom provided support for the original applications to council, with Four surrounding parties also becoming organic through a partnering relationship.
