Have Yourself a Healthy Little Christmas

You can feel it in the air, the buzz and vibe of people shopping frantically, the TV beckons you to christmas specials and the weekend newspaper is full of glossy temptations for your loved ones.

It's getting closer to Christmas and the countdown to have everything organised has begun. Why battle the bustling centres? Don't drive around a carpark for an hour stalking happy couples pushing trolleys back to their cars in the hope that they're leaving. Christmas can be chaos, but, it doesn't have to be. Why not simply give your loved ones the best christmas gift ever... Health. Fountainhead has fantastic christmas packages to beat the bulge (after indulging in christmas turkey's and dessert), detox and let your body recover from all those late christmas nights as the minutes blurred in to hours and the wine glass seemed to always be topped up by a tipsy relative.

Or start the new year with a healthy mind and cure your depression, beat that addiction, or if a loved one suffers from cancer they can explore the mind body connection with Greg Neville N.D and learn the exact thought that is contributing to their disease. Or give your loved one a pamper package to truly spoil themselves. What could possibly be a better gift than that? For more information on all of our fantastic Christmas specials, see our website.

Beat the Blues December Intensive.

In a Fountainhead first, we are hosting a Beat the Blues depression seminar in December. It includes everything from seminars on the hugely successful Fountainhead philosophy as well as life coaching and journey therapy. It's a great opportunity to ensure you have a healthy mind set before Christmas. For more information email Dimitti now.

Ask Tarsh

Our Boot Camp Coordinator answers your questions on health & Fitness.

Q: If I do 100 crunches a day, will I get a 6 pack?

A: Lots of people ask this question, you can not spot reduce. Body fat tends to stick around the mid section, especially on females. What you need to do is to have a clean healthy diet and eat 5-6 meals a day. Swiss Balls are a great way to exercise your core and easy to use at home.

Q: I'm overweight, should I take diet pills?

A:Definitely not! The most effective way to lose weight and keep it off is through good nutrition, exercise and a good amount of sleep. Although you might lose weight when taking them, the results wont stay and the side effects are horrible!

Q: I feel fat and unhealthy, how is your boot Camp going to help me? How is your Boot Camp different to everyone else’s?

A: Our boot camp is unlike any other in Australia, We are not a gym and therefore do not want continuing membership. We are the only 100% organic retreat so you can get fit, eat yummy healthy food whilst indulging in our mineral baths and pamper activities. Not only this, but you will learn skills that you can take with you for life and take control of your own fitness.

Boot Camps - Want to get involved?

Cancer Retreats -Like no other in the world.

Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with cancer? We are like no other cancer retreat in the world. We can say, with confidence, that everyone will benefit from attending a Fountainhead retreat. Not only will we help you look after the physical body through nothing but organic foods, mineral pools, detox box, volcanic mud wrap (to name a few) but you will learn about the mind body connection with Greg Neville N.D, author of the 'Emotional Links to Disease'.

One guest who attended to learn more about his father's cancer said "My dad has non hodgkinsons lymphoma, I was absolutely blown away when Greg described to me what exact thoughts were contributing to his disease. It was like he knew my dad, he summed (him) up right away. When I got home and told my dad he was just as shocked as it made total sense, now we need to work on changing his thought patterns". Greg has spent many years researching the mind body connection, finding what thoughts have a physical detrimental affect on the body. Greg believes the body is a replica of life and that certain worries about abilities in life can cause parts of the body that mirror those abilities to mysfunction For more information see our Cancer Retreat Page, or email us now.

New Weight loss Program - Australian First!

Fountainhead have been treating weight loss and weight gain issues for quite some time. However, in an Australian first, they are now guaranteeing weight loss. Yes, if you do not loose the agreed weight by the time you are due to finish the camp, you can simply stay on until you do, be it 1 day or 1 month. No other facility in the country offers this sort of guarantee. Julia our fitness leader says “At last people know that when they go to loose weight, they will loose it! They will get training on correct nutrition and exercise, and they are guaranteed to loose the weight, it is a win win for them, they get fitter, get educated, and with the guarantee in place, know that when they go home, they will be at least as slim as they agreed to.

Julia also laughingly suggested “I’d love to make it a double guarantee where we tell them for every kg over they pay extra, but I don’t think that would work. Although I know we would make more money, our whole philosophy here is one of helping people whether it be in beating: depression, gambling, alcoholism, and now even obesity, or just getting fitter. Every person leaving here will have better knowledge of nutrition and the links between the mind and the body” This incredible offer is available for a limited time, so get on the phone now and start the new year as a new you.
