Can I see the platypus every day? |
| A | There are four that live in Platypus Pond, which is our "front yard". There is also another one in Fryers Creek, and a further four in our front pond. Platypus can be seen most mornings, but can not be Guaranteed as they seem to stay away windy days. (Stop the presses: We have a new baby in front lake ). |
| Q | Most Health retreats in Australia have shared accommodation. Can I get my OWN bedroom at Fountainhead ? |
| A | All Guests at Fountainhead get their own bedroom. The cabins all have two bedrooms, (Though you may book it all to yourself) and Farmhouse has 6 bedrooms with three bathrooms. |
| Q | Is all the food grown on Fountainhead Sustainable Farm? |
| A | Not yet. About 70% so far, but this is being added to every day. Head Chef, Daryl Tyler is developing a cuisine that minimises artificial ingredients, additives and uses meat sparsley. We show how to minimise or eliminate wheat and dairy as well. All organic of course & our guests NEVER feel hungry. Guaranteed. |
| Q | Are Spa treatments extra? |
| A | Every package includes Spa treatments. Extra treatments are available at a "Special" in house guest rate. |
| Q | Can we visit without doing the health kick thing ? |
| A | Yes, we have many Guests stay each month whom just choose us as on an alternate accommodation basis. All activities are optional. However food is always healthy & Organic, even the wine. |
| Q | How many Guests are there at a time. I want personalised service. |
| A | Some retreats in Australia have over 40 Guests per week. At Fountainhead we limit the long stayers, (5-14 days) to 10 maximum. If we can't connect with you; then we haven't done our job. |
| Q | Can I attend the Cooking School ? |
| A | Organic Food and Cooking School happens once per week as a minimum. All 7 day or more Spa Guests are automatically included in the "Fountainhead Cuisine Organic" cooking school. Other days are optional. |
| Q | Can I book the entire Proprety? |
| A | Yes on Special occasions. Special rates are available for team building exercises, functions and weddings. Please inquire if we can help you. |
| Q | Can I smoke on Fountainhead? |
| A | No, Fountainhead is a smoke free farm. |

Can you pick me up? |
| A |
Yes, from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast airport transfers to and from are included in long stay packages and are always available. . If you live in Brisbane or as far north as Noosa we can pick you up and drop you off for a small fee. |
