Heart disease and Diabetes are two of the top five killers in Australia
The first and only sign of heart disease for 50% of those that suffer it is a fatal heart attack. Many drugs now treat the symptoms of heart disease, but almost half the population will still succumb to it. Type two diabetes has many contributing factors including nutritional deficiency, sedentary lifestyle and like with all major illness, mind set issues.

The "Healing Heart" Retreat program, named after that famous Norman Cousins health classic where Norman "healed his own heart" after a major heart attack, commences each month at Fountainhead. We teach the physiological cause and we teach the emotional cause of the two illness's. The education process ensures you understand the reasons behind the disorder and then we go about creating new patterns of behavior and a new belief system in the area that makes you susceptible. This is true holistic healing, not just a catch phrase.

Inclusions & Pricing
The Healing Heart programs for Diabetes (Type 2) and Heart disease are for a minimum 13 day commitment but may be extended to 20 days or beyond. The 13 day program includes two Spa therapies, namely a full body deep tissue massage as well as a foot and leg exfoliation with reflexology. The 20 day or longer programs also includes 30 days life coaching with a Fountainhead Life Coach after you return home, (which can be extended for up to 180 days). All programs are inclusive of all meals, supervised fasting and detox, (every week Monday through Wednesday) all activities (Yoga 3-4 times weekly). Extra blocks of Spa therapies, life coaching, personel training or activities one on one can be added to any retreat prior to arrival.

Also includes "Ayurverdic & Live Food " Cooking Schools all group lectures and are priced at $3950 in the Farmhouse or sharing a deluxe Cabin for $4950 each. 20 day programs from $5250 in the Farmhouse and $6250 sharing a deluxe cabin, (cabin to self, Funky & Back Rooms cabins ONLY extra $900 week). Bookings include use of all Fountainhead Resort facilities, and transfers to and from Sunshine Coast airport, (See "contact us" for details here). For 20 to 42 day visits, use 20 day rate then add $220 per day farm house & $320 day cabin share.
