This is the program that offers the best chance for a Cure for Clinical Depression in Australia today. This program will not only have you understanding the causes and cures of clinical Depression but will hone your life skills through study and work to regain your happiness.

Beat the Blues now conducts long term programs at Fountainhead Healing Centre for those that have been suffering from Depressive illness for long periods. These programs commence with a full month of education, health and nurturing as well as a secondary focus on fitness. After the first month the program can be extended to include work and education to prepare the participant to move back into the work force and a full life. This can be extended for up to four months.

The participant is assigned a life coach who will conduct two "Life Coach" sessions per week with them for the duration of the program. This coach is responsible for the education in the causes and cures of Depression. The participant will attend a full weekend seminar with Greg Neville N.D. whom designed this therapy. The participant will further have some time with Greg "one on one". The life coach will then follow through to ensure that the client is assimilating the new patterns and understandings into everyday life.

A Life coach will also conduct two "Journey Style" therapies over the four week period for the first four with the participant to help break through psychological barriers. This therapy can do in days what many psychologists take months to achieve.

The participant will be asked to choose an area of work to be assigned and trained in from week three onward. The available areas are:

1. Organic Horticulture & small farm practises

2. Body work including massage and some beauty therapy

3. Housekeeping and cleaning with maintenance

4. Organic food preparation and Kitchen duties

The participant will be rostered 20 hours weekly for work and training. Other subjects for study can also be added (as an extra - discuss options with Dimitti) including Permaculture, Life coaching, Art (most forms) and personal training.

The participant will be pampered with 4 hours of body work including Mud Wraps and Swedish massage during the four week basic program. For physical fitness there is loads of nutritional education including food school, along with daily walks and lots of Yoga and meditation. A Personal Trainer will take the participant for one session per week to create exercise goals and to commence moving towards them.

The life coach will keep planning with the participant to create the habit of goal setting. At the end of four weeks the participant will understand the Causes of Cure of Clinical Depression and will be able to teach others this information. During the stay a Certificate in Holistic Counselling will also be earned. The participant will be physically fit and have a much improved understanding of nutrition and healthy habits. The participant will be capable of goal setting and relating this to their own career.

Extensions beyond four weeks are planned ahead on a fortnightly basis with a maximum of four months if deemed necessary by the life coach and participant.

Charges and Fees: All accommodation is in Platypus Lodge with your own room and shared facilities. Basic fee is $2825 per week for the first four with payments made two weeks in advance, (7 days before arrival to confirm booking). After the initial four week program the fee reduces to $1950 a week until the tenth week when it reduces to $1450 per week. All accommodation, meals, supervised Juice Detox, and activities along with full use of Maleny Hot Spring Baths is included.

ATTENTION!!!

None of these programs are "woo woo", esoteric or steeped in mysticism. No mysteries will be revealed. It is all about finding the reality that seems to be eluding those that suffer from Depression. If you are so used to being depressed that it has become a large part of "Who you are" you may not be ready to take action and change just yet. If you are not ready to let go of being "the one with Depression", then this program will not work for you.

This is the key to the treatment at Fountainhead. It is also a condition of your visit. Please discuss this with Dimitti. If after the first two weeks of the program action and change does not seem possible at this time, Fountainhead reserves the right to terminate your visit and refund the difference of your payment less a fee for services rendered. Extras: Extra body work. If a specialist needs to be brought in for the skills training or a tutor for study. Charged at cost to us. After first four weeks, $1665 week, (two weeks at a time). After ten weeks price is reduced to $1095 week.

The healing waters of Maleny Hot Spring Baths are available for all long term Guests every day. They include a Turkish steam room, Lap pool and super heated Mineral Water Bath.
