Meet Alan My goals when I first came to Fountainhead were to cease smoking, to detox and to start a healthy diet and fitness regime. Most importantly, I had a feeling that i would be taught new ways at looking at life. I knew almost upon arrival that this was a special place. I was met by Suzy who immediately made me feel incredibly welcome. She was so real and down to earth. I detoxed on fresh juices for the first 3 days of my stay which was challenging but made me feel almost healthy straight away. You are encouraged to start exercising both with the group activities and making use of the great facilities on offer and this I did. By my second day I was walking 10 kms every morning and either working out at the gym or swimming in the afternoons. I shed weight straight away and started to feel really good. I had ceased smoking and found it incredibly easy due I’m sure to my new relaxed healthy and supportive environment. What I feel helped change things for me was what they teach. The Fountainhead method is a way of dealing with depression, anxiety or any type of psychological stress. I don’t believe I would have remained a non smoker had I not changed my set of beliefs as to why I smoked. This related to any other dysfunction I felt. Through learning about the Fountainhead method, the life coaching I received and sitting in on the "Greg Neville lecture series", so much has changed for me. I still remember the feelings of dread and tension that came from living a life that gave me no satisfaction. Visiting Fountainhead has given me amazing knowledge and skills and allowed me to move into a totally new and satisfying time in my life. I sometimes feel like I have won the lottery in finding this place and I am truly grateful that I took this leap of faith.
