We have designed the 6 day retreat to give a focus on quiet reflection and education Sunday through Wednesday and on Thursday we break out, celebrate and have fun with loads of activities and great healthy food. At Fountainhead Health Retreat in Maleny Queensland, we offer programs designed for businesses and Government agencies that help address many of the current health issues that we all deal with today. We believe that mental attitude and a strong workable belief system are the most critical tools to ensure a happy and healthy life. Participants will come to reflect, upgrade belief systems and forge new directions. Belief systems that will support and change limiting patterns, habits, offering a new drive and joy for life.

Participants will discover : a place of change, by embracing practical solutions based on "philosophy in action." (Not the usual "pump up sessions": like a tan, these fade away in time).

Three types of retreat are available?

1.Stress Buster: The perfect way to de-stress and learn new ways to a healthy lifestyle. Our standard six day program includes a 3 day juice detox along with all activities including healthy cooking school & gentle exercise. A time to reflect and gain knowledge in the management of stress. Includes two one on one life coaching sessions and a Journey.

2. Fit for Life: Toxic habits do not support any aspect of life. We only think they do while we are addicted. These addictions will affect your health, family and work environments. The good news is that you can free yourself from these holds by understanding what causes them and upgrading such beliefs. Approximately one third of all our retreat visitors currently come to quit cigarettes or reduce alcohol consumption. Includes two life coaching sessions and a Journey.

3. Beat the Blues: This is the program that offers the best chance for a Cure for Clinical Depression in Australia today. This program will have you understanding the causes and cures of clinical Depression and will provide life skills to regain your happiness. One of our life coaches will also conduct a "Journey Style" therapy to help the participant to break through psychological barriers. This therapy can do in days what many psychologists take months to achieve. 6 day retreats also include two sessions of ‘one on one’ life coaching. This philosophy is now tried and true with hundreds of great success stories coming from our programs.

Our Rebate Scheme: We value your loyalty and reward your commitment to creating opportunities for helping your staff reap benefits that will in turn ripple into generating added value to work environment. Over a period of time (12 months) - 5 bookings would offer you a 6% rebate from the standard price for each booking. Ten bookings 9% and over 15 bookings 14%. Bookings must be paid in full to reserve your spot.

Programs can be extended for tough cases.
Tax Incentives: Programs paid by corporations for their staff are also tax deductible under ATO Staff Training guidelines. Ask Peter for details.

Extras: We recommend three body work sessions if relaxation is part of the goal. One Remedial massage, one Swedish massage and one full body Mud Wrap. Price $450. Extra life coaching sessions, (aprox 2 hours) $165. Transfers from Sunshine Coast or Brisbane airports, (ask for details).

Platypus Retreat - Situated right next door to the Fountainhead complex, this six bedroom rustic Farmhouse is surrounded by Walkers and Fryers Creek, alive with platypus.

Live in Guests have full run of Maleny Hot Spring Baths which includes a 25 metre aqua aerobics and Lap pool, a super heated 10 m x 5 m Natural Mineral Water bath (heated to 36 Degrees) a Dead Sea Salt Spa bath and a Turkish Steam room.

Thanks for a great holiday

Dear Staff at Fountainhead
Thanks for a great few days at Fountainhead. Each one of you contributed something special to my short break. Thank you.
I enoyed the time to indulge myself in total relaxation. The walk in the rainforest was very motivating; the extended walk at the beach that some of us participated in was revitalizing; it was amazing to spot my first platypus in the wild; invigorating to take that plunge into the COLD pool; the massages and mud wrap were a time of relaxation and what an inspiration the raw cookery school is. My fellow guests were also a wonderful source of knowledge and support.
It was wonderful to meet more of the staff over a lunch that we had all helped to prepare.
