Letting Go Of Control
It actually sounds ridiculous doesn't it, the idea that learning you have less control over your life's development than you thought you had, could possibly lead to greater happiness? But it will. To understand the truth in this statement, you shall first need to learn what triggers happiness, the secret to continuous happiness, and then most importantly, the purpose of happiness.
The sensation of 'Happiness' is an emotion. Our emotions are created by particular cells in the brain that are triggered to work by impulses that are sent to them from another part of our brain that contains our 'beliefs'. Emotions are triggered by the 'beliefs' we hold.
Before an emotion can be set off, a person has to have already assessed, via beliefs, the event being encountered. This is why a particular event will make one person very emotional and not a different person. These two people have different beliefs.
Happiness is an emotion that is triggered when a person's assessment (belief) of what type of an event is taking place, actually matches the person's beliefs on what type of an event needed to be taking place. Put simply: A person is happy when life is unfolding the way the person believes it needs to be unfolding........
