Fountainhead reserve the right to change pricing, inclusions, and programs at any time without notice. Fountainhead Organic Retreat has two primary focuses. The first being education of psychological stress and its causes. The second fitness education. At any one time both programs will be operating at the same time.
We are not a rehab center, medical centre or hospital and cannot offer 24 hour care, except with Palladium and Premium level retreats. We are not medical doctors nor psychologists, but simply offer education on ideas and systems that we have learnt from the over 3000 clients that have attended our retreats over the last seven years. The Fountainhead Method, (Our Life Coaching philosophy) is our best understanding so far of the causes and neutralisers of stress related illnesses. It has a wonderful success rate.
Duty of Care
Guests whom may have had suicidal thoughts over the last twelve months or require 24 hour care must bring their own chaperone or may not attend. If during your visit suicidal thoughts arise, you must immediately notify us so that we may get professional help in this area. Fountainhead only provides supervision from 7am to 8pm seven days. Those here for stress related health issues, (not Detox, pamper or Fitness retreats) are not allowed off the property unless supervised during the duration of their retreat. If you are on medication for your illness DO NOT REDUCE OR CEASE TAKING IT until you have completed your program and only then with your medical Doctor's agreement and supervision.
Booking and early Termination, Late arrivals and Cancellation Policy for all Programs:
To reserve your spot, payment in full including any transfers must be received within 21 days of arrival. For bookings made more than 21 days in advance a 50% non refundable deposit is required and then full payment at 21 days. For cancellations with less than 14 days notice 75% of the full fee is not refundable. For 7 days or less, no refund is possible. If you change your mind up to 7 days after arrival then any nights used plus 50% of the total fee is charged. If early termination occurs 7 days or more after arrival then no refund is possible. Those giving less than 10 days notice of arrival date change will be charged for the nights missed at the agreed rate until arrival or shorten their program by same.So please think carefully before booking or attend a weekend seminar in advance to be sure our type of program is for you. Changes may be able to be moved within a 120 day window as long as 7 days notice is given, as long as your spot can be subsequently replaced.
For many of these programs to have most chance of providing real help, they must be completed. Often when confronting fears and other "stuff " that often comes up with many of these programs, there will be an urge to "run away". You must push through this. I appreciate that this is a strong stance but some of these health conditions require a strong stance to be given their best chance of being over come.
Smoking, alcohol and non presciption drugs. Only come if you are ready to Quit. Anyone found breaking this rule during their visit will be sent home. This is a condition of booking. No refund will apply. Regular rooms checks are conducted at random.
Fountainhead recommends the use of travel insurance.**
Cabin to self:
We NEVER guarantee Cabin to self. If you do require a cabin to YOURSELF non sharing, then you must book two spaces. The second one will be at 80% of the normal rate.
Cuisine:
We have an optional juice detox every Monday through Wednesday and all our cuisine is organic as well as dairy, caffeine and gluten free.

International visitors should fly into Brisbane airport.
Interstate visitors should fly into Sunshine Coast airport.
From Brisbane we are only an hour north. Travel along the Bruce Highway to the Glasshouse Mountains turnoff. Take the Glasshouse Mountains Road (also known as the Steve Irwin Way) to Landsborough and then the Landsborough-Maleny Road. Fountainhead Organic Retreat is just minutes from the centre of Maleny.
Transfers: Are available from Sunshine Coast or Brisbane airports to our door. If you choose to drive to Fountainhead, it is a condition of all retreats to hand in your keys for the period of your program.
** We can book your flights for you at no charge, just ask.
Credit Card Fees: Amex attracts a 3.5 % service charge and all other credit cards a 1.5 % service charge.

Before you pack, take a careful look at our suggested packing list below.
- Organic Toiletries, (our eco Loo system can not tolerate Chemical based products)
- Bring a small backpack / carry bag.
- Swim wear
- Raincoat
- Walking shoes (good tread)
- Tracksuits - Warm Jacket
- Torch-very important
- T-Shirts, Sun hat/cap
- Slip on shoes/ use in Spa
Please Do Not Bring:
Mobile phones (usage is not permitted on the property), we will keep safe for you. Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs (not prescription), Food, Sweets, Coffee/Tea , Magazine or Newspapers
**Regular inspections will remove such items.
Internet Booking Specials However, we are so confident in our ability to help with depression and anxiety, that full tariff paying clients, completing the 28 day change your life program, whom cannot report a major improvement in their ability to handle stress within 90 days of departure, may return at reduced rates, (further treatment of the same issue will be no charge). This will include life coaching, weekend seminars and any other relevent services but NOT accommodation, catering, activities and other therapies etc).
